Parents and caregivers play an important role in helping children learn how to manage stress. The child’s ability to cope in the early years has consequences for physical and emotional health throughout life. Based on research from Kids Have Stress Too, you will learn practical tools for recognizing stress and supporting children to build resilience. This session is a prerequisite for parents registering their children in Stress Lessons. The material is geared for parents of children in grade 1-3. Call the MFRC at 250-363-2640 to register.
