Greater Victoria has excellent employment agencies and the MFRC is fortunate to have great working relationships with them. If you need help finding a job, we recommend that you get in contact with the appropriate agency in your community.
If you need employment assistance related to being a military family member new to the area, we have trained staff to provide guidance on gaining meaningful employment. There are also employment workshops and employer information sessions from time-to-time hosted at our facility in Colwood.

The Integrated Relocation Project (IRP) reimburses the cost of some expenses related to the job search of the military spouse/partner when relocating in a new community. Contact the IRP office to obtain further details about the expenses that you can claim.

The Military Employment Transition Spouse (METSpouse) program is a new initiative that connects Canadian military spouses with a network of employers across the country. It is available in all military communities to the spouses of Active, Reserve, and Retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces. To participate, contact your local MFRC.
