Halfway Party for HMCS Vancouver and HMCS Winnipeg

Let’s celebrate making it halfway through the deployment! Join us for a fun-filled evening with bowling, batting cages, appetizers and games! 

This event is open to all those with friends and/or loved ones on HMCS Vancouver and HMCS Winnipeg. Please note that this is an adult only event and child care is not provided. 

Cost: $10.00 per person 

• Payment must be made prior to event registration confirmation.
• Payment can be made during regular business hours at the Colwood Pacific Activity Centre.
• If you would like to pay over the phone with credit card, please email kristagranger@emfrc.com to arrange this. Please do not send credit card information via email.

*Registration and payment deadline is end of business day on Friday September 23rd.

HMCS Winnipeg’s Command Team will provide a live update to friends and family members about what the ship has been up to and what the future holds, as well as answer any questions you may have. Senior members of the Canadian Fleet Pacific Staff and the MFRC will be on hand to answer questions, address concerns, and provide updates on workshops and activities. Please register in advance.

MFRC Sunday Funday

Is your loved one away? Are you moving away from CFB Esquimalt or recently arrived? Are you just looking for a fun event to connect with your military community? Come join us for games, activities, face painting, prizes and fun for all ages! We will provide hamburgers and hot dogs (with vegetarian and vegan options) and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you!

*This event is for all military connected families and their supports. If you can, please bring a camping chair or picnic blanket.

The Family Wellness and Counselling  Team is pleased to offer a monthly evening of relaxation and fun.  Using mindfulness, gentle movement and creativity we will explore tips, tools and strategies to enhance our mental, physical and spiritual health in an online and interactive group setting.
