Greater Victoria has a variety of child care options. However, there are significant shortages for infants and toddlers (children under 3 years of age). Child care is more readily available for preschool and school-aged children. Please note: it is strongly recommended that you start your search early no matter the age of your child.
It is important to get your name on as many child care waitlists as soon as possible. Sign up on as many waitlists prior to your move or before your baby arrives.
