Employment Info

Greater Victoria has excellent employment agencies and the MFRC is fortunate to have great working relationships with them. If you need help finding a job, we recommend that you get in contact with the appropriate agency in your community.

If you need employment assistance related to being a military family member new to the area, we have trained staff to provide guidance on gaining meaningful employment. There are also employment workshops and employer information sessions from time-to-time hosted at our facility in Colwood.

On the BGRS Guide website, you’ll be able to register and manage your relocation. This replaces the Integrated Relocation Project (IRP) which reimbursed the cost of some expenses related to the job search of the military spouse/partner when relocating in a new community.
