Military families can locate Christmas hampers or various assistance within their local communities. Applications close early for some agencies. Here are some communities providing Christmas hampers or assistance for families in 2020. In addition, be sure to check with local and neighborhood churches, community and resource centers for additional Christmas assistance.
Goldstream Food Bank
Serving the Western Communities of View Royal, Colwood, Metchosin, Langford, Highlands and some of East Sooke.

CFAX Santas Anonymous Society and partnered agencies known as the Christmas Giving Network (CGN)
Serves the Greater Victoria area.
APPLY: Criteria for online submissions and applications can be filled out online via PC, Mac, smartphone, or tablet. Please note that hamper applications must come through the form hosted on this website. This is a central registry and one application system for agencies including CFAX Santas Anonymous, The Salvation Army, The Mustard Seed, Sooke Christmas Bureau, Sooke Harborside Lions ‘Toys for Kids’ and the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank.
DEADLINE: Applications are closed but some agencies in Greater Victoria have other Christmas supports available.
Cowichan Valley Christmas Hamper Program – Salvation Army

The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive 2020
Provides gifts and books to children in Nanaimo and vicinity.
REGISTER: Parents can obtain registration and contact information through the website. Check for updates on registration information and location for pick-up of toys. Registrations closes December 4th.
