Flu Clinic

Date: Friday, October 28th & Friday, November 4th
Time: 11am – 7pm
Location: At CPAC – 2610 Rosebank Road, Colwood
(IN THE GYM)

The Military Family Resource Centre and Forbes Pharmacy are hosting a flu clinic for the Defence Community at the Colwood Pacific Activity Centre. This flu clinic is open to military-connected family members,  veterans and DND civilian defence community and families. Each appointment will take approximately five minutes.

Effective Oct.19th, 2021 – The Provincial Government of BC has announced that all residents of British Columbia will qualify for a free Flu shot. In line with this announcement, for the Esquimalt MFRC 2022 Flu Clinic the only requirements that will be applicable to attendees are:

  • Must posses a valid BC Services/Care card
  • Must be a military-connected family member,  veteran and DND civilian defence community and family.
  • Children aged 2-17 are eligible for FluMist. (Pharmacists are only permitted to offer the injectable vaccine to children 5 yrs and older. Children 2-4 yrs must receive the FluMist)
  • We are not able to offer FluMist or injectable vaccine for children under 2 yrs.

There will also be a pre-screen phone call prior to each appointment confirming the information provided at the time of booking, instructions for your appointment time, and a review of our COVID-19 safety protocols.

Please complete the consent form and bring it with you to your appointment.

This clinic is not open to active Military Members.  Military Members are required to receive their flu shot through the Base Hospital.
