Youth Programs
We are committed to supporting youth and family wellness. We work with youth between the ages of 12-19 years old who are experiencing mental health, social, and emotional challenges. The Esquimalt MFRC provides a variety of services for youth and their families including:
- Individual counselling
- Family counselling
- Groups and workshops
- Support navigating mental health systems
- Referrals
- Resources
Additionally, we work with local community partners to provide opportunities for youth and families. These include:
- Presentations/workshops: FamilySmart ‘In the know’ presentations offered monthly to parents, providing information on various topics pertaining to youth mental health
- Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities with the MFRC and other local organizations
